I have a four year old who nearly knows ALL the books of the Bible. Here's how...
We start the group portion of our daily schedule at the kitchen table. We read a chapter of the Bible. After our Bible reading, we pray, and we stand to our feet and recite:
*Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag
*Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian Flag
*Pledge of Allegiance to the Bible
IMMEDIATELY following this, I have them recite the Books of the Bible. We do this EVERYDAY... and guess what's happening??? Hannah is starting to say them along with the boys!!! Guess what else??? Auntie Marge is starting to say them TOO! AMAZING! If you hear something often enough, you will remember it, and Hannah & Auntie Marge are starting to memorize them too!
